Product Information & Pricing
- The product images, descriptions, pricing, and specifications cited on our website are solely for information and are subject to change.
- Our prices and campaigns keep changing from time to time. Although we attempt to keep the communication updated about such changes and take utmost care to specify only the most accurate information/prices, errors may occur or changes may befall without prior notice. In such rare events, we will either contact you before processing the order or cancel the order.
- We reserve the right to terminate any such order and return your payment if an agreeable resolution is not met between us.
- The prices will be final, non-negotiable, and will be communicated to you before dispatch.
Ordering & Contract Formation
- For your orders placed on sb.co.uk, check for any errors before proceeding with the checkout. Carefully review the details before submission on each page.
- We send an email confirmation once the order is placed from your end, acknowledging the order. Note that this will be considered as your offer to purchase the goods, but it still cannot be interpreted as the acceptance of the order by us.
- Every order is conditional upon our acceptance. Our confirmation and acceptance are presented through the dispatch confirmation email.
- The contract between ServerBasket and the buyer is formed only after this confirmation, and only the products confirmed under contract will be considered under this purview.
- We are not bound by any duty to supply any additional products unless accepted/mentioned specifically in the dispatch Confirmation.
- If, for reasons like product out of stock or pricing error, we cannot supply the product, we will explicitly notify you through email. If the payment has been made already, the full amount will be refunded to you as soon as possible.
- All such terms and communication will be done between us in the English language.
Delivery Services & Dispatch Handling
- We decide the method of delivery for your orders utilising the services of a recognised courier provider. We may use different logistics partners to fulfil the transactions based on the size of the products.
- We strive to dispatch and deliver the booked items within the committed time frame of 5 to 7 working days. We take measures to meet the expected date of delivery, but delays may happen due to unavoidable circumstances.
- Once the product’s delivery is complete, the risks transfer to you, and the products become your responsibility.
- You get the transfer of ownership only once we have received the full payment.
- When there are multiple items, we will seek to ship them together.
- In circumstances where delivery cannot be done at the stated address, we would need an alternative address within the UK for delivery.
Entitlement to Cancellation (Cooling-Off Period)
In case you wish to return any product, you have the right to do so as a consumer. ServerBasket’s return policy complies with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, which mention a 14-day cooling-off period. The consumers have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days of receiving the product without having to provide a reason.
Return the product within fourteen days. Simply notify the decision to our team at the said time and send the item back to receive the refund payment. The refund will be completed subject to the following conditions:
- Immediately return the product in the same condition as it was received by you.
- Use the original packaging material to maintain the integrity and security of the product during transit.
- We take the responsibility of return postage only in case the product is faulty, inaccurately described, or for any other reason that may be relevant. In all other cases, like ‘Change of mind’, such an expense of returning the products or the cost of arranging for the collection of products lies upon you.
- You must handle and care for the products reasonably when they are in your possession, failing which we may exercise our right of action for compensation.
Returns & Refunds Processing
- In cases where you feel that the item received has a defect, is mis-described, or in any other way unsuitable for use, we have the responsibility to repair or replace the product and refund the money wherever applicable.
- We will send relevant communication notifying the same through email within a reasonable time. We will make sure that these repairs, replacements, or refunds will not be delayed and processed quickly in 30 days of receiving the defective product.
- On the successful receipt of products in their original condition, packed and returned or shipped by the consumer, the refund will be processed from our side within 7 business days.
- The refunds will be executed based on our refund policy.
Changes in Orders & Cancellations
We have curated our collection of servers and spares, thoughtfully collaborating directly with the manufacturers to bring you the original and highest-quality servers and their parts. We endeavour to deliver your ordered products hassle-free to your doorstep, serving you the best buyer experience within the least possible time. Every product is tested and quality checked before dispatch. Yet, if you request a cancellation for any reason within the 14 days of the “cooling-off period” according to the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to do so. You can withdraw from certain contracts owing to a change of mind and receive a full refund. However, you need to notify us within 14 days of the delivery, post that we will not accept any such request or initiate a refund.
We also do not accept cancellations for reasons like you found the product cheaper elsewhere after the order is completed. Such submissions must be done before dispatch.

Warranties
Every product at ServerBasket is supplied under warranty. We offer a manufacturer’s warranty on the new products, and the buyers must exercise this warranty from the original makers. In addition, we provide our own warranty on items refurbished through our established process.
- In general, the warranty period for new servers is 3 years, 1 year for refurbished servers, and 90 days for server components.
- Any products under the manufacturer’s warranty that need to be replaced will be carried out solely by the maker, not ServerBasket.
- For refurbished items, sold with ServerBasket’s warranty, we provide a Return to Base (RTB) warranty. This is an assurance that products will be defect-free for the warranty period specified. This warranty will not be applicable if the defects arise from:
- Reasonable and normal wear and tear
- Malicious damage, improper storage, working conditions, accident, or negligence
- Any modification or repairs done by an unapproved party or you;
- Any software added by you or a third party that caused file corruption, a virus, or a bug that instigated damage to the product.
- We cover shipping costs within the UK for the parts and systems if they are replaced under warranty. If the location lies outside this ambit, the customer needs to bear all shipping costs and must pay in advance of the replacement of goods or before the dispatch.
- We possess the right to test the returned items. If the product is found not in compliance with the above-mentioned points or there are missing parts or it’s not in a saleable condition, we reserve the right to deny the repairs, replacements, and return the product to you.
- The warranty will remain relevant in addition to your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The Act secures your privilege to receive goods of acceptable standards, fit for the purpose, and as advertised.
